Chop Shop... it was like being at home.

chop shopI think it’s a trait from up north, I’m at the barbershop a lot like many other men to look presentable. Initially I was very skeptical when I came down to Miami to attend school. The results I’ve witnessed in the past were okay but nothing worth patronizing; it was never exceptional. I had been here six years and had never accounted the hands of such a skilled barber until the CEO was referred to the Chop Shop for a shape up. In no way am I saying that Miami-Dade lacks great barbers, I just had never witnessed their work.

The constant flow of customers in and out of the shop making appointments to look their best had a feel of being back home. The precision their barbers took as they cut and shaped-up their clients hair was awesome. Each barber took their time to make sure each detail was precise. I was amazed at my business partner’s shape up that I decided to go to that very barber: KAT. He gave me points so that my sideburns would continuously connect to my goatee and 20 minutes later I stepped out of the chair looking and feeling just as debonair as I use to back up north. Closing a great experience, KAT commented on my style and its uniqueness. He wanted to know where I had acquired it and if he could use it on other clients, if I did not mind. I informed him it was what some of the men did back home.

As me and my partner were discussing our experiences we both felt that KAT took his profession very serious. We also noticed that he was a people’s person; you would leave his chair not only looking good but feeling good. For those of you who may not know about the CHOPSHOP in Miami and are in need of a great experience at a great barbershop please make it your business to contact the ChopShop. -XHO
